- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Specially drove via Lake Boga to see this museum. Shame I couldn't go in, the volunteer wouldn't let my bobby companion dog in, waved at a cage with wire floor... Thank goodness not all museums are the same. This was the first time someone had said no. Just because there happens to be a kitchen located in the same building does not mean dogs are not allowed, I wish people would educate themselves better. - ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I never realised that the Catalina flying boats were such a thing in the middle of the mallee. I also had no idea this museum even existed. Inside the hanger is a wonderfully preserved Catalina, and a heap of other quirky stuff. I'm glad places like this still exist. The history of WWII in Australia is quite remarkable and something we don't want to forget.By Ewen Bell, February 26, 2017
